Not paired with product catalog - error in Shopify
Updated over a week ago

The "Not Paired With Product Catalog" error typically occurs when there is a mismatch between the product IDs in your product catalog and the product IDs being sent through your tracking pixel. This can happen if you've made changes to your product catalog or if you've implemented your tracking pixel incorrectly.

To fix this error, follow these steps:

  1. Check your product catalog: Make sure that all of the product IDs in your product catalog match the product IDs that you're sending through your tracking pixel. If there are any discrepancies, update your product catalog accordingly.

  2. Check your pixel implementation: Verify that your tracking pixel is implemented correctly on your website or in your Shopify store. Make sure that you're sending the correct product IDs through the pixel.

  3. Re-pair your pixel: If you've made changes to your product catalog or your tracking pixel implementation, you may need to re-pair your pixel with your product catalog. To do this, go to your Facebook Business Manager account and navigate to the "Product Catalogs" section. From there, select the appropriate product catalog and click on "Settings." Under the "Data Sources" tab, click on "Add Data Source" and select "Facebook Pixel." Follow the prompts to re-pair your pixel with your product catalog.

  4. Wait for updates: It may take some time for your product catalog and pixel to sync up. Wait a few hours and check back to see if the error has been resolved.

By following these steps, you should be able to fix the "Not Paired With Product Catalog" error and ensure that your tracking pixel is correctly paired with your product catalog.
